DIY Macrame Hammock

I find I’m always often…always (haha) looking for new ideas for the kids’ room, re organizing their play area, or adding new things to their nursery. I can’t help myself.

I’ve seen this stuffed toy macrame hammock on pinterest, and decided to give it a try.
Using string, lay down a few double line strands and tape/secure to surface for easier handling. Knot neighbor strands and secure the ends to a metal ring (or something similar) once you’ve reached the length you desire. I used a wrapped knot to secure the ends, but you can use whatever knot you like. And voila!

It’s so easy to make, didn’t take very long (did it while the kids were napping), and you don’t need much. Love how it turned out!img_0775img_0781img_0783img_0785img_0787img_0794
